Tems’ debut album Born in the Wild is a soulful journey through shadows and stardom. With collaborations from J. Cole, Asake, and producer Sarz, she masterfully blends ’90s nostalgia with Afropop, creating tracks that are as raw as they are captivating. In my personal favorite, “Burning,” her killer vocals take center stage and absolutely slay. If this is a new beginning for Tems, we can’t wait to see where she goes next.
