Dunya is one of the most special musical projects to come from recent years. It’s an emotionally rich album that pays homage to Mustafa's culture, upbringing, and loved ones; it's confrontational and heart-wrenching in subject matter but simultaneously dipped in hope and faith. What I really think makes Mustafa one-of-a-kind is his ability to express pain in such a way that’s soft and full of beauty. Not many can strike this delicate balance between light and darkness to tell an honest story, but he does it masterfully to deliver a lasting impact on those willing to listen. Through all of the world's noise, Mustafa is the shining voice we need right now, and I feel grateful this work exists for anyone who may need it.
