The release of ScHoolboy Q’s BLUE LIPS was one of the most exciting musical moments of the year. Songs like “Blueslides” and “Cooties” showed Q’s maturity and shook me to my core with their beauty. The album also included production and raps from the rising star Devin Malik, who I’m a huge fan of. 2024 was a major year for the West Coast, and this album was certainly one of its proudest moments.
