From each heart-wrenching moment to the next, Gordon nails an ideal indie affect again, again, again: all from seemingly far away and with his eyes closed. Each song swirls into dense clouds of melody that shine for only a second before settling back into dust. To effortlessly come off this effortless, to still make a masterpiece: this man is something else.
