It's safe to say I had a Charm girl fall this year with this album bumping on repeat in my household for the entire second half of 2024. This project captures the kind of nostalgia and longing evoked from something seemingly insignificant but packed with sentiment, like a grainy film portrait of your ex or a rusted vintage necklace passed down by your grandmother. Though I haven't always been a big Clairo listener, the maturity in her sound and artistry can be heard heavily on this one. Charm feels like a warm hug over and over again... and it hits especially different if you're a real yearner.
